Hey Fellow Wildcats, Sorry it's been so long since I've updated the blog. It's hard to believe that our school year is almost over. I know at times school can be difficult for a number of reasons. You may be having trouble in a particular class, feel a teacher doesn't like you, too much homework or the principal is a pain (I hope not but. . .) You need to know that everyone here at AMS genuinely tries thier very best to make each and everyday the very best for you. Sometimes that doesn't happen but you have to know that we have your best interests at heart This brings me to the topic for the final month of school. Share one of your favorite experiences you've had this year at AMS. What were some of the great things that happened? What do you like best and what would you like to see changed, suggestions where we can improve. Remember, you have to be reasonable! I look foward to hearing from you. Best regards, Mr. K |

Ok, so even though this is off topic, the 8th graders at AMS would like to say that after taking the PTO poll at lunch we have some ideas to improve dance attendance. The reason that 8th graders were not attending the dances was becuase of the fact that the music was terrible- not because of the lower grade levels attending as well. In fact, when the PTO split the grades the dance was even worse! We like it when the grades are all together. Lastly, the dances are too short. I hear people say all the time who wants to go to a dance for 2hrs? And they are right, it is too short. So if we have a dance sometime soon if you 1. Got a new DJ 2. Put all of the grades back into one dance 3. Made the dance longer (like 6-9 maybe 9:30 or like 5-8) and made sure to INFORM the students of the changes, attendance will be increased greatly gaurenteed!!!!!!

I don't mean to be off topic but can we PLEASE atop running the 'fun run'? It's nearly 2 miles!!! We get a LOT of excercise playing games, so why do we have to run 2 miles every week? Sometimes we get yelled at for walking for a little bit to cool down. Why do we have to do the fun run anyway? Does State Law require it? If it doesn't, please stop making us do the mile. Ask any student! No one likes it. |

We can certainly look at getting another DJ and having all grade levels attend the dance is not a problem either. I'm not sure how long we can make the dance as DJ's are very expensive. If we make them longer than it will cost more for everyone to attend. I think your suggestions are good and I will see what we can do. Thanks, Mr. K -Just a thought to help |

Come on! Who cares? Auburn is one big, giant, flaming pit of you-know-what. There's drama, drama, drama, and really awful teachers who give ISA's and referals at the blink of an eye if you LOOK at them funny. I think we should all get our acts together and come up with an idea so Auburn doesn't feel like such a prison anymore. Seriously, every day I dread coming to this wasteland. It literally feels like I willingly ride to my execution EVERY SINGLE DAY. Instead of coming up with a stupid school store name that no one really gives a you-know-what about, how about we make it so it doesn't feel like such a pit of despair. I'd rather eat lead than come to this awful place every day. This school is crashing and burning internally, and we all know it. Seriously. Come on, Mr. Kadilak. You know this is all true. Do something about it. |
