About the Community
Fauquier County is nestled between the bustling metropolis of our nation's capital and the hazy peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains. From the mountain pass at Ashby Gap to the rolling farmland outside Goldvein, Fauquier County is a multifaceted and ever-changing tableaux. Despite its proximity to Washington, DC, much of the county retains its rural heritage and flavor. A blend of small town, rural countryside, and the nearby metro-DC area makes Fauquier County a truly unique place.
