From the mountain pass at Ashby Gap to the rolling farmland outside Goldvein, Fauquier County is a multifaceted and ever-changing tableaux. Despite its proximity to Washington, DC, much of the county retains its rural heritage and flavor. A blend of small town, rural countryside, and the nearby metro-DC area makes Fauquier County a truly unique place.
