Fifth Grade

 Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to working with your children in fifth grade. We are requesting the following supplies for use in our classrooms.  You are welcome to bring them to school on “Meet the Teacher” evening in August, or send them with your child when school starts.

· 1 binder – NOT a Trapper Keeper type. They are too large for our desks. We prefer a 2” or 2 ½“ binder. Anything larger than that is hard to fit in the desks.

· 2 dozen standard pencils

· 6 whole punched pocket folders – The vinyl ones last longer.

· 1 box of colored pencils

· scissors

· Pack of highlighters

· 1-2 packages of college ruled lined paper

· Package of glue sticks

· 3 composition books

· Zipper pencil pouch to go in the binder (NOT a pencil box)

· 2 spiral notebooks

In addition to those supplies we are asking for donations of a few other things. If you can help us out with these items, we would certainly appreciate it.

· “Baby wipes” or disinfectant wipes

· Hand sanitizer

· Ziploc bags – quart size or larger

· Post-it notes

Please take note that the Virginia Sales Tax Holiday is August 2-4th.  Thank you very much.  We look forward to working with all of you this fall.
