The Internet can be a fun and magical place, however it may pose some risks when your children are on-line.  We are working at Mary Walter to educate your children about Internet Safety and to help them make wise choices at all times.  Here are some tips that you and your family might consider implementing to help keep your children safe:

  • Keep the family computer in a room that has a lot of traffic such as the living room.
  • Monitor the websites that your children are visiting.
  • Set up "Favorites/Bookmarks" of approved sites for your children to visit
  • Supervise who your children are speaking to on-line.
  • Most importantly, talk to your children about Internet Safety!

We are doing as much as we can here at Mary Walter to educate the students about Internet Safety.  However, your involvement at home can make the difference about the decisions your children make when going on-line.  Please visit the links below to learn more about Internet Safety and what you can do to keep your children safe on-line.
