Ecology Club Debut on Voice of America

Quilted Squares Bring Hope & Friendship for Peace

The Ecology Club members are making their debut on Voice of America.  The brief video "production" entitled, Quilted Squares Bring Hope Friendship for Peace , shows the children creating quilt squares, describing the beauty of Virginia.  When completed, the quilt will be signed by the students and delivered to our sister school in Afghanistan.  We may be fortunate to have the Vice President of Afghanistan, who will be visiting Washington, D.C. soon, bring our eco quilt back with him when he returns to his country.  How exciting!
