Start here: Bullying Reporting Form

-Brumfield's Bullying Rules-

1. We Will Not Bully Others

2.  We Will Try To Help Students Who Are Bullied.

3. We will try to include students who are left out.

4. If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell and adult at school and an adult at home.

These are from the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, a program that has been adopted by Fauquier County Public Schools which addresses bullying behavior on 4 different components:

  • School
  • Individual
  • Classroom
  • Community

With you, the parents as central figures in all of those areas.

"Bullying is a complex problem that requires a complex solution."

If you suspect someone bullying your child or you are a JGB student that has been bullied, we are here for each other. Defenders are not people who retaliate by force, aggression, abuse or violence. People who defenders are not "Tattle-tales" or "snitches". Defenders are people who address bullying behavior by reporting it to people who can address the behavior in a safe, respectful approach. The worst thing to do is to do NOTHING!!!

Start here: Bullying Reporting Form

This is a reporting form that goes into the confidential mailbox of an administrator in our building. The administrator will follow up with this form and the reporter and address bullying behavior wherever it is reported!
