 STARTALK 2012 July 9 - 26, 2012 2012 LOCATION JUST ANNOUNCED - TAYLOR MIDDLE SCHOOL WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2012 STARTALK SUMMER PROGRAM. The application packet is attached below, it includes 5 PDF documents. The student application form includes a checklist of all necessary components to apply for the program. Complete application packets should be sent to: FCPS Startalk c/o Laura Hoover 320 Hospital Drive, Suite 40 Warrenton, VA 20186 Please note that the complete application packet including a $40 check made payable to Fauquier County Public Schools must be received before students will be considered for acceptance into the program. You will be notified once you have been accepted into the program.

 The STARTALK Program STARTALK is a program under the National Security Language Initiative (NSLI) funded through the National Security Agency (NSA). The goal of the initiative is to expand and improve teaching and learning of strategically important world languages that are not currently taught widely throughout the United States. STARTALK's mission is to increase the number of Americans learning, speaking, and teaching critical need foreign languages by offering summer programs to students and teachers. Summer STARTALK experiences strive to exemplify best practices in language education and in language teacher development.
