Wind Ensemble is an auditioned band that strives for the highest performance standards.  Various levels and genres of music will be explored and performed throughout the school year.  This group will present at least five major programs in a given school year.  Students must devote a good amount of time to music preparation and technical practice on their chosen instrument.  Liberty's Wind Ensemble consistently receives "Excellent" and "Superior" ratings at the VBODA Concert Band Festival.  Auditions are held every year to determine the roster.  See Mr. Neidich for more details.  For concert schedules, please check the "Classroom Calendar" link.

The standing homework assignment for Wind Ensemble is to practice your instrument at least 30 minutes a day.  Please see the document page for detailed information on grading.
