SUMMER READING FLIERS:

Turn those in to your new English teacher.  Rewards will be distributed at each lunch period the week of September 4th.

AUTHOR VISIT by Fred Bowen will be in early November!

Mr. Bowen is known for his outstanding sports series. Sixth and Seventh graders will be reading WINNNERS TAKE ALL during September and October.  QUARTERBACK SEASON has been nominated for next year's middle school VA Reader's Choice List. These "sports books" are not just for the boys, there are great female characters in the books, too.

Seventh Grade   4th period - 10:50 - 11:40

Tentative Schedule for all classes:

Monday - Study Island computer session, Lab 127

Tuesday - Thursday - Reviewing and practicing skills incorporating figurative language, critical thinking skills, vocabulary, reading fiction and nonfiction, and test taking skills.

Fridays - Catch-up day - finish any incomplete assignments - extended reading time.
