  YEARBOOK INFO

There are no extra yearbooks available to purchase. Strawbridge Studios has agreed to work one on one with parents who would still like to order a yearbook,  BUT THEY CANNOT DO SO UNTIL AFTER JULY 1ST.

Any parent who did not Pre-Order a yearbook and would like to purchase one is asked to call Strawbridge Studios at 1-800-326-9080, ask for the yearbook dept.  The cost will be more as this will be an additional print job for them (aproximately $30-40 which includes shipping).

SCHOOL MESSENGER SERVICE

Fauquier County Public Schools will test phone and email notifications to staff and to parents and guardians of FCPS students, prior to the school division’s July 1 transition to School Messenger as provider of notification services. SchoolMessenger will replace the Global Connect system currently in use.
On Tuesday, June 9, all staff and students’ primary and secondary household phone numbers will be called; this test replicates notifications that would be made outside of school hours. Then on Tuesday, June 16, all parent and guardian emergency contact phone numbers that have been provided to the school division will be called; this replicates a notification that would be made during school hours. This second test will include all home, cell, and work numbers provided. The test phone calls on June 9 and 16 will ask recipients to press 1 to hear the message (or recipients may simply stay on the line to receive the message). When you receive the phone calls, no further action is required on your part in order to complete the test.
At the same time that the test phone calls are made, an email will be sent to all staff and to all parents and guardians of FCPS students who have provided an email address to FCPS. This email will contain the same information as the phone message; the email will be automatically generated as an added feature of SchoolMessenger.
Parents and guardians who do not receive a phone call and/or email should contact their child’s school to update contact information, and staff who do not receive a phone call and/or email should update their information in ePortal.
