All Fauquier County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 8 and Tuesday, February 9. The School Board meeting scheduled for Monday, February 8 has been cancelled. The meeting will be held Tuesday night, February 16, 7pm at Fauquier HS. |

Congratulations to all the Pearson students for successfully completing the first semester of the 2009-2010 school year! Second semester is just getting under way and we are encouraging our students to do their personal best in their classes during our final two grading periods. Our boys and girls will be busy taking their PASS Assessment test in second grade, Benchmark tests in grades 3-5 and preparing for the Writing SOL test in fifth grade which is coming up soon. All of our students continue to work hard in math and writing - our two instructional focus areas for this year. Continue to check the Fauquier County website and watch the television for possible school delays or closings as February can be a very cold and snowy month. Join us on the 23 rd for the PTO meeting at 7 p.m. in the Library to hear about all of the exciting plans for the remainder of the year. We invite all of you to become an integral part of the Pearson Family!
