Everyone at Pearson is looking forward to a wonderful 2010-2011 school  year!  We know our students are anxious to start learning again and looking forward to seeing all of their friends after a relaxing, but very warm, summer.

Back-to-School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 14^th beginning at 7:00 p.m. for grades PreK-5.  This event will give you the opportunity to meet your children’s teachers and learn about all of the wonderful events we have planned for the year. 

We are happy to welcome Mrs. Casey Clark to Pearson as our new Art teacher. Mrs. Angela Via as our new 4^th grade teacher, Mrs. Angie Ashley as our ITRT, and Mrs. Molly Fraser as our new Instructional Assistant.  Mrs. Haley will be teaching 2^nd grade this year and Mr. Luis Locurato will be joining us as our ESL teacher.  We also have a staff of part-time employees that will be covering lunch duty and recess time for our homeroom teachers this.  We hope you will welcome all of our newcomers to the Pearson community when you come by for a visit.

As always, our Pearson PTO has a lot of activities planned for the year and we all look forward to your help in making each of them successful.  We invite you to join this group of energetic parents as we depend greatly on their support. 

If you have questions or concerns, feel  free to come by the Office and speak with either of us at any time.  Your children are very important and we all strive to make their educational experience a wonderful one!

IMPORTANT REMINDER :  If you would like to volunteer at HMP during the 2010-2011 school year, you will need to complete a volunteer application.  The volunteer application is located on our website under PTO forms.   Once you have completed the form either mail it or bring it by the school office .
