  • Caribbean Steel Pan Camps Coming This Summer

    The Caribbean steel pan sounds of Trinidad & Tobago may be heard coming from the Fauquier High School band room June 18-22 when the Fauquier High School bands and the Falcon Band Organization offer a Caribbean Steel Pans Camp for middle school students, high school students and adults as well. Cost is $75, and proceeds of the camps benefit the FHS “Talons of Steel” pan programs. (See the video.) FCPS teachers may receive professional development credits by attending the camp.

  • Auto Tech Student Takes Third in State at SkillsUSA Competition

    Justin Bean, a student in the automotive technology program at Fauquier High School, took third in the state in the automotive service technology competition at the 53rd Annual SkillsUSA Virginia State Leadership Conference in Fredericksburg April 28-29.

  • FHS Students Win First in State TSA Competition

    Fauquier High School seniors Emma Winters and Morgan Miller won first place in the children’s stories category at the TSA Technosphere State Conference held May 5-7 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The two students qualified to compete at the national TSA Conference in Orlando, FL, June 21-25.
