Kettle Run High

  • Staff Member of the Month: Dave Kuzma

    • Mr. Kuzma always goes out of his way to make sure that all students in his classes are understanding the material. He is quick to adapt in challenging situations, and is always finding a way to inspire his students to strive to reach their full potential.

    •  Dave is a great colleague that always lifts those around him with humor, great ideas, and focus on student learning. He is also coordinating the Fauquier Exchange Programs with central office, which has seen a lot of leadership change over the past few months.

Student of the Month: AJ Jimenez

“I am nominating AJ because he created the program that was used during the mock election. AJ was asked to create, modify and implement the program that he created. This app made the KRHS mock election unique and it was an incredible contribution.”

“AJ took on the task of developing an "Exit Poll" for the Mock Election which in turn ended up being the actual ballot that Kettle Run used in the Mock Election. AJ gained real-world experience by using feedback from teachers and students to develop the application. He worked in and out of class on the project to make sure it functioned properly and that it returned accurate results.”
