    This month, in FCPS cafeterias, students will see…

    The FCPS FRESH Program (Fauquier Reaches for Excellence in School Health) has partnered with the FCPS Department of School Nutrition to bring menu items featuring fresh produce to the cafeterias!  Each month, we will highlight seasonal produce on the menu, share fun facts about their nutritional value, & raffle fun prizes for students who demonstrate their nutrition knowledge.

Division News

  • FCPS Graduation Rate at Record High

    Fauquier County Public Schools’ on-time graduation rate increased to a record-high 96.1 percent, according to data released Oct. 1 by the Virginia Department of Education, ranking FCPS 13th out of 132 school divisions in the Commonwealth. The on-time rate refers to first-time ninth graders who entered high school in the fall of 2014 and graduated on time in 2018. Previously the school division’s highest on-time graduation rate was 95.5 percent last year. Once again Fauquier County’s rate exceeds the state rate of 91.6 percent.

  • School Quality Profile for Fauquier Tells a Positive Story - All 19 Schools Fully Accredited

    All Fauquier County Public Schools are fully accredited for the 2018-2019 school year, according to the results released by the Virginia Department of Education on September 27. This year’s accreditation ratings are based on a new school accountability system that provides a more comprehensive view of school quality.
