Our school vision is to transcend, motivate and serve all students so that they can find their success and then do the same for others.  We believe the strength of our school is built on a foundation of strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders.  We believe in order for all students to be successful, each child must have support and encouragement, there needs to be community involvement and we must ensure that all students have equal access to supplies, materials and resources.

Taylor Middle School is a Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports School (VTSS).  This system addresses the academic, social and behavioral needs of each student through a positive approach and setting high expectations.  We value the individual interests of each student and offer a variety of core, fine arts, foreign language and career/technology classes.
