    FCPS News Release: FCPS Students Enjoy Picture Perfect Start to the School Year

    Fauquier County Public Schools opened its doors to a new school year on August 16. Nearly 11,000 students were in attendance throughout the 19 campuses in the school division.

    FRESH Partners with Fauquier Health to Promote Literacy & Childhood Wellness

    Fauquier Reaches for Excellence in School Health (FRESH) is excited to announce a new partnership with Fauquier Health. FRESH (a Fauquier County Public Schools program funded by the PATH Foundation) is on a mission to promote a ‘lifetime of wellness’ among Fauquier youth through nutrition, movement, and literacy enrichment.

    FCPS Policy for Providing Free or Reduced-Price Meals

    Fauquier County Public Schools today announced its policy for providing free or reduced-price meals for children served under the National School Lunch and/or School Breakfast Programs.  Each school and/or central school nutrition office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

    FCPS Hosts Back-to-School Fairs July 31-August 2

    Fauquier County Public Schools invites all students, families and staff to attend the second annual FCPS Back-to-School Fairs at Bradley Elementary School on July 31, Marshall Community Center on August 1, and Marsh Run Community on August 2. All three events will last from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; attendance is free.

    Meaghan Brill Named FCPS Deputy Superintendent

    Fauquier County Public Schools has named Ms. Meaghan Brill as its new deputy superintendent. Dr. Major Warner, division superintendent, announced her appointment during the Fauquier County School Board meeting on July 10. Effective July 11, Brill, 39, will fill the position Dr. Warner held for the past six years.
