FCPS1 is currently reviewing and updating our division's strategic plan, transitioning from 134 specific tasks to a broader, more agile framework. This evolution focuses on three core areas essential to our mission, making the plan more accessible, memorable, and actionable across the division.

Review and Update Process
- Preliminary Discussions: Launched at the November School Board Summit
- Formation of Steering Team: Engaging key members to guide the update
- Stakeholder Meetings: Involving diverse groups to gather feedback
- Public Feedback Opportunities: Ensuring community voices shape the plan
- Finalization and Approval by the Board: A finalized plan will be presented to the School Board for approval

- Document is static, reviewed every two years, and lacks flexibility to address the fluid challenges of public education.
