Fauquier County Public Schools (FCPS1) now offers online submission for Notice of Intent and Proof of Progress. Families providing home instruction must complete these forms to meet state requirements.

Notice of Intent

An evaluation or assessment approved by the superintendent, which may include:

  • A letter from a licensed teacher or an individual with a master’s degree or higher, confirming adequate academic progress.
  • A report card or transcript from an accredited college, distance learning program, or home-education correspondence school.
