We are excited to offer the Fauquier County Public Schools mobile app, designed to keep families, staff, and students connected anytime, anywhere.

Built with accessibility in mind, the Finalsite mobile app brings important school updates, communication tools, and district information directly to your smartphone. Users can customize their experience by subscribing to specific schools, ensuring they only receive the information most relevant to them.

Download the App

The Fauquier County Public Schools app is available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

To download:

  1. Open the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Search for “Fauquier County Public Schools.”
  3. Tap Install.

Login Information

Users will sign in using the method associated with their role:

  • Staff: Microsoft Single Sign-On (same credentials used for division systems)
  • Students: Google Single Sign-On
  • Parents/Guardians: Email and Finalsite-managed password

If needed, users can reset credentials through the login screen using “Forgot Password.”

Accessing Chat

The Finalsite Chat feature is available through both the mobile app and a web browser.

Mobile App

After logging in:

  • Tap the Chats icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  • View messages, groups, and direct conversations.

Web Browser

Access Chat directly here: https://www.fcps1.org/fs/chat/signin
No download is required. Users will log in and go directly to the Chat home screen.

Chat Overview

The Chat home screen includes two main areas:

  • Chat Rooms: School-based groups such as classes, teams, clubs, and building-wide announcements
  • Direct Messages: Private one-to-one or small group conversations between parents/guardian and staff, or students and staff.

Where is the Chat icon in the app?
The Chats icon appears in the bottom toolbar of the mobile app. The Chat icon only appears once you have logged in.
