To ensure the safety of our youngest students, bus drivers will only release kindergarten through third grade students at their designated stop when a parent or guardian is present to escort them.

Exception:

Parents or guardians who wish to request an exception to this policy must provide a written release. This release must:

  • Authorize specific adults or siblings to escort the student, or
  • Allow the student to be released without an escort.

The written release must be signed by the principal or their designee, kept on file at the school office, and sent to the Transportation Office. The Transportation Office will then inform the bus driver of the exception.
