Dear FCPS1 Families,

As we begin the 2026-27 school year, I want to extend my warmest welcome to you and your family. Whether your child is entering school for the first time, advancing to a new grade level, or preparing for graduation, we are honored to partner with you in their educational journey.

At Fauquier County Public Schools, we are committed to providing every student with a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where they feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to inspire curiosity, encourage perseverance, and prepare students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed in school, careers, and life.

This school year, we remain focused on providing high-quality instruction that challenges and supports every learner, creating safe, inclusive, and caring school environments where every student feels seen, heard and respected, and strengthening communication and collaboration between schools and families. We will also continue supporting the well-being of every student while preparing them to become confident, responsible, and engaged members of their communities.
