Here at FCPS, we believe in the power of creativity and expression through visual arts. Our visual arts program offers a dynamic and enriching experience for students of all ages, from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

From exploring basic artistic techniques to honing advanced skills, our curriculum is designed to inspire and challenge students at every level of proficiency. Through a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art, students have the opportunity to unleash their creativity and develop their artistic voices.

At the elementary level, our K-5 Visual Arts Curriculum Overview provides an overview of the foundational concepts and skills covered in art classes, fostering a love for art and encouraging exploration.

In middle school, students delve deeper into their artistic journey, experimenting with different techniques and styles while building a strong foundation in art fundamentals.

High school students have the opportunity to further refine their skills and pursue their artistic passions through a diverse range of courses, including advanced studio art, photography, and digital media.
