A few reminders for parents:
*If your child is ill, has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, has vomited or had more than one episode of diarrhea in the last 24 hours, they need to be kept home. They may return to school when they have been symptom free (without medication) for 24 hours. Please review the health guidelines in the Student/Parent Handbook starting on page 40 for more information.
*Prescription meds must be brought in the original pharmacy labeled container and be accompanied by a physician signed medication administration form.
*The clinic does not stock any medications, creams or ointments. If your child needs anything, even cough drops, it must be brought into the clinic in the unopened package and the proper form needs to be filled out. *NO medication or over-the-counter items (except those listed below), are to be brought in by the student, they must be brought to the clinic by an adult.
Students may carry with them only these items: hand sanitizer, sunscreen, non-medicated lip balm and saline solution. Please see pages 36-37 in the handbook for more info regarding medications.
