Principals Message

  • Principal's Message

My name is Josh Miller and it my honor and privilege to be serving this community as the Principal of Auburn Middle School.  I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to partnering with all of you to ensure that Auburn students are provided a high quality and well-rounded education.

Over the duration of my career in education, I have been witness to the many ways that a quality educational experience can positively influence young men and women.  I believe that each student is unique in his/her own way and that in order to maximize the educational experience, we need to ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of each and every student.  I also believe in the power of establishing and nurturing relationships with all members of the school community.  When teachers, parents, administrators and the community work together, amazing things will happen for our students!

As a collective staff, we will be committed to the process of engaging and enlightening students on a daily basis in order to help them become productive and responsible citizens.  Current best practices and curriculum objectives and standards will be enhanced by teaching students how to be creative, to utilize critical thinking skills, to collaborate, and to communicate effectively.  Our goal will be to create and foster a love of learning for all students by combining rigorous and relevant instruction with real world application.

I do understand and recognize the significance of my role here at Auburn and I promise you that I will take a diligent approach in ensuring that the overall well-being and success of all students will remain as our number one priority in all that we do.  I am confident that by working together we will ensure that all students grow and develop into productive members of our community and our society.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and integrating myself into the Auburn family.  My door is always open, and I welcome your input and ideas.  Please feel free to call or email me at any time throughout the school year if I can be of any assistance to you or your child.

    Go Wildcats!
