  • Regional Science and Engineering Fair Senior Division Winners Announced

    The Sixth Annual Fauquier Regional Science & Engineering Fair, senior division (9th-12th grades), was held on Saturday, March 2 at Fauquier High School. The fair hosted 19 of the top high school competitors from Fauquier County. This year two new directors coordinated the fair - Regional Fair Director, Erica Deane from Highland School and District Fair Director Kara Reffitt from Kettle Run High School.

  • Graduation Schedule Confirmed

    Fauquier County Public Schools confirms the following schedule of graduation dates for the Class of 2019. • Southeastern Alternative School – 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 20 at Southeastern Alternative School • Fauquier High School - 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at Falcon Field • Liberty High School - 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at Jiffy Lube Live • Kettle Run High School - 6 p.m. Friday, May 24 at Cougar Stadium

  • 2019 Teacher of the Year Nominees Celebrated

    At its Feb. 25 meeting, the Fauquier County School Board honored 18 teachers, all of whom have been nominated to be Fauquier County’s representative in the Washington Post Teacher of the Year competition. A selection panel will choose one of the 18 teachers to be the Fauquier County Teacher of the Year, and that teacher will be entered into the Post’s Teacher of the Year competition. The Fauquier County Teacher of the Year will be announced later in March.

  • School Board Actions 2-27-19

    The Fauquier County School Board met Feb. 27, 2019, and took the following official action out of closed session. The School Board voted unanimously to authorize the Superintendent and his representatives to explore purchase options for the property discussed and authorization to agree to a reasonable market purchase price contingent upon School Board approval.
