FCCLA Club will be selling Candy grams for Valentine’s Day during all three lunch shifts this week. Delivery will be on Valentines’ day during first block.

 

The fall 2018 AP-1 Physics class will meet in Dr. Atkins’ room (258) on Thursday Feb 7th during Eagle Block to start review sessions for the May 2019 AP Test.”

 

HOSA Club will be meeting during Eagle block Friday the 8th in Ms. Jenkins Room.

 

During all lunch shifts today and in celebration of African American History Month, students can help create a mosaic.  Look for Ms. Corbin or Ms. Helsel in the lunchroom to participate.

 

Hey Second Block teachers!

Prom invitations will be delivered to your rooms on Wednesday, February 6th during 2nd block!  Please be sure your 2nd block students get them! Students may see Ms. Miller in 264 if there are questions.

 

The Floral Design class is selling Valentine’s Day flowers during all lunch shifts. Carnations are $3, Roses $5, and bouquets are $20. Flowers will be delivered during 1st Block on Valentine’s Day.

 

Last day for the coin drive! The top three first block classes are Dr. Atkins, Madame Dorsey, and Mrs. G, with Ms. Ramos' class not far behind.  Thanks so much for all the money that has been donated so far.  Let's make this last day count!

 

If anyone is interested in taking an additional AP exam, and you are not enrolled in that AP class this year, please let Mrs. Gilbert-Wright in the Counseling Department know ASAP before Friday, February 22nd.

 

Reminder Spanish Honor Society.  See Mrs. Eilers in room 125 to vote for  Spanish Honor Society Officers. Voting closes this Friday, February 8th.

 

Attention all junior class officers and SCA reps. Prom planning season is HERE. You should be checking in with Ms. Miller weekly to see what Prom planning tasks need to be completed. Work sessions will be held weekly during Friday Eagle Blocks. Please be sure to come since half of your spring SCA points should be prom-related!

 

SENIORS: please be sure to order your 2019 yearbooks this month! Do not miss out on senior tributes, senior portraits, senior superlatives, and senior memories because you forgot to reserve a book! Forms are in room 264! Set up a pay plan for just $20 if you cannot pay for a whole yearbook right now!

 

Guess what? Plans are underway for our fabulous 2019 Prom! Juniors and Seniors will receive formal invitations very soon, but now is an AWESOME time to mark your calendars for Saturday, April 27th! If you have any Prom questions, see Ms. Miller in 264 or check with an administrator!

 

 

Attn All Writer’s Block tutors, please come to Mrs. Adrian’s during Eagle Block today for some last minute things and schedules. We open for business on Wednesday, February 6th.

 

If you are a part of the Project LIT Community, plan to meet in the Library during Eagle block this Friday to plan our February meeting for I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter. Bring your ideas for activities!

 

Anyone interested in running outdoor track in the spring should attend the interest meeting in room 256 on Thursday, February 7th at 7:15am

 

If you are a Freshman, Junior or new to LHS Sports, you must take an IMPACT concussion test prior to Spring tryouts.  The test will be offered on Feb 7th, 12th and 14th.  Report to the Athletic Training Room right after school.  See Coach Carter to sign up to take the test!

 

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching.  The LHS Ag Department is selling a variety of Valentine’s Day flowers for you to send to your special someone.  Orders can be placed during all lunch shifts.  Flowers will be delivered on Valentine’s Day during 1st block.
