Mathematics Textbooks To Be Available for Review

Teachers, administrators, parents, and other interested stakeholders are invited to an open house to review K-12 mathematics program materials recommended for adoption and to be implemented during the 2019-2020 school year. Anyone interested may drop by the Library and Media Services Office (formerly the Teacher Resource Center) located in Central Complex Building A at 430 East Shirley Avenue according to the following schedule:

  • Monday, November 5, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 7, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 8, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 13, from 9 am. – 4 p.m.

In addition, Angela Ashley, instructional supervisor for mathematics, will host a textbook preview presentation on Thursday, November 8 at 6 p.m. The new textbook materials will support the recently adopted Mathematics Standards of Learning.  You may contact Ms. Ashley at (540) 422-7037 or with any questions or concerns.
